Brand Futures // Vimeo

In an era of digital devices, numerous online platforms are being created to make it easy for people to get involved in social media activities. And yet, many people are still not confident in creating and sharing their own original content. Time constraints, social stigma, and reluctance to stray from repetitive routines are stopping people from creatively contributing to the digital community; resultantly, this leads to the doubting of one’s own creativity. The number of “curators” is rising as people spend their time sharing rather than creating.

Vimeo is a video-sharing platform that is rich in personal expressive content. They focus of harnessing the inherent creativity within everyone for video creation and sharing. What if their brand values were applied within other markets too? The products designed for this range explore showing people where their subconscious creativity lies, allowing them to cultivate their imagination without actively seeking a creative output.
Future Mission statement:
“Realising subconscious creativity”
Vimeo will strive to find a way to show people where their subconscious creativity lies, allowing them to be able to cultivate their imagination without actively
seeking a creative output.
